Recovery documentation

A clearer record for the lender file.

Condition photographs and recovery information help lending teams understand the vehicle’s state and the completed recovery event.

Why documentation matters

A repossession is both a field operation and a lender record. Useful documentation helps the institution identify the recovered unit, understand its visible condition, and maintain a clearer account of the transition into recovery intake.

Vehicle-condition photographs

Condition photographs provide a visual record of the vehicle at recovery. The specific images and information depend on the assignment and agreed process, but the goal is consistent: give the lender useful support for its file without making unsupported conclusions about prior damage or responsibility.

Recovery information

Recovery information can include the completed recovery status and details needed for the lender’s next operational step. LRS communicates within the process established during onboarding so the institution knows where updates belong and who should receive them.

Documentation is not a public submission

The website does not accept live assignment documentation. Do not upload or email debtor information, VINs, account numbers, recovery locations, or other sensitive collateral details through the general contact channel. LRS will establish the appropriate assignment channel directly with the lender.

Questions to settle during onboarding

  • Which lender contacts should receive updates?
  • What recovery notifications are expected?
  • How should photographs and recovery information be transmitted?
  • What vehicle-intake or release direction follows recovery?
